- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Freedom. and a better way of living and parenting.
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- 8 years.

- I have 7 children aged 19,18, 16, 15, 14 and 10 year old twin boys. named Chris, Kerri, Gemma , Katie, Sarah, Darren and Ben.
Better not name the pets cos we have more rabbits then kids:)
- a little about me
- I live in the UK and have not been successful in the autonomous method of HE. It didn't sit well with me for various reasons. I felt it was too distant from my children and wanted more nuturing then the autonomous way gives. (to my way of thinking ). Structured learning makes me ill. ( and the kids). I cannot do it. I feel like life is contrived. It created misery for the brief times it was tried and discarded. I stumbled on radical unschooling via the internet many years ago and it seemed to give a name to how we live:) We live by the sea. Dh is a carpenter. One of my kids is at college now and one is going in September aged 18. They choose it with no pressure and are happy. It was hard for me - the hole in life was strange but we have all adjusted now. I love it when we are all home tho:) Life is great:) I love history, travel, sewing, gardening, tending our rabbits, cooking, doing new things, watching my kids grow, walking on the beach, living life. Being us;)
