Don't people have anything better to do than SPAM groups with unrelated stuff???
Oh well I just delete it and thought I would see if it's happening to others.

Hiya Frank!
I finally put something new on my blog... I was neglecting it. Actually I really like to put pics up and Chamille kept dumping the camera on her computer, so I wasn't putting blogs up... and we've been busy.

I still check yours though!

The pix on Ronnie's blog are great - thanks for sharing. I like the lake pix best. Please pass encouragement to Ronnie that I really enjoyed her "unschooling the wrong way" talk and that a reprise at LiG would be warmly welcome by me at least. And I'm not going to say P*lin either. Hope your knee continues to heel. All the best - Steve

Hey Frank,

Recently joined this ning thing and wanted to say Hi! We met at L&L and I enjoyed the couple moment's of conversation we had there about being fulltime dads.

Good to see you here.

Yep, it's pretty uneventful. We're having gusts up to about mid 40s occasional low 50s, and some squalls, but not too much else. We did loose power because we're in the woods and our line runs through the trees (a blowing limb that hit the line pulled the box off the house) but we have our generator going so we're good. The power co said they'd be out tomorrow to repair that. We had our bags packed and ready to go when they thought it might be a cat 5, but when we saw the storm falling apart and all the other components (dry air, distance to land, high pressure, etc.) we KNEW it was going to be safe to stay. We've been monitoring the levees in New Orleans via local news - the amount of rainfall will be a test of the levees to some degree....we're all breathing a sigh of relief that it went down to a cat 2 though....whew, that was close!!! xxx
