what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

It means trusting that children, and all of us, learn what we need to learn when we need to learn it within an environment that allows for that, and that goes for all areas of learning - not just academics. As a parent, I have the privilege of accompanying my children on their journeys and want to provide the environments that best nurture them on their way.

a little about me

I am currently living with my family in Bangladesh where my husband and I are the country representatives for a relief and development organization. We have lived here for a little over two years and has been a challenging, expanding, learning, amazing time for us. I am so grateful to have found unschooling and all it has meant for us.
Along with growing into the profound gift of mothering, I practice yoga and rely on 30 minutes of meditation to start each day. I love the outdoors, reading, singing, dancing, being with friends who know me well and believe that dreams are messages from our soul.
