- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Learning naturally and in freedom!
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- I learned about unschooling a few years ago - so, about three years. I also say that my child is a self-directed-learner. I wait for him to be interested in something and then I provide the materials and help that he needs. He is interested in robots, bugs, the Spanish language, movie music, etc....I wouldn't know as much about him if I chose to send him to a school.

- I have one 6 year old boy.
- a little about me
- I try to buy organic and local foods (and grow my own) as much as possible. My son and I are both vegetarians - almost vegan. We are also atheists. It is hard to find home school groups that are not christian based. It can be frustrating sometimes.
I have a profile on Myspace called UNSCHOOL. I need to tweek it a bit here and there. I'm still not quite satisfied with it yet. I am trying to start a blog on WordPress but am having a little trouble with the format. I will figure it out though soon, I hope.
