"Janelle, I'm not sure where you are in VA, but we are in Bristol (near the TN state line). We use a CAT5 test that we order from Bayside, but you can also use Seton (that seems to be the one I hear people using most frequently). I have never…"

VA educational policy

Profile Information

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
I'm learning to let my son lead the way in his learning. I'm also learning to lift the restraints that I always thought were a part of "good parenting." We are just new to the process.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
This school year (2011-2012) is our first experience in unschooling or homeschooling.

a little about me
I'm a single mom who works from home. I got into the area of trauma healing and coping with grief after my husband was killed by a drunk driver when our son was 18 months old. Although my husband's death defined my work, I no longer let it define my life. My son and I enjoy a great life, surrounded by the beauty of nature and exploring the wonderful world in which we live.
