what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: at this time it means that what I thought was "radical unschooling" is not "radical unschooling" and the more that I think I understand the more I understand that I really didn't have a clue. update 1/10 I now find that I do understand but the process continues to evolve on a regular basis. It is not just a one "I get it" moment is is a series of incidences that I learn from and move forward.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: 10/08 Decided it was the right thing for us, definitely what I knew would have been best for me, in '98. When my oldest was about 6 months old. And until recently, I thought we had spent much of our time in the unschooling realm.

1/10 I'd really rather not make a call on a specific length of time because it is muddled with "oh you need to learn to read lets practice" moments. Those moments stopped in about 07-08 depending on the kid but there was still forced learning ops going on. I don't know when that stopped.
