what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

Radical unschooling means breaking away from the traditional ideas of what learning should be, and allowing my children to learn in their own way. It seems to me that most of life is a learning experience, and exposure to things that my kids are interested in is one of the ways I can school them without schooling them. :)

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?

I have only been homeschooling off and on for about a full school year, and I am brand new to the world of unschooling.

a little about me

I love my girls more than anything. When I have any spare moments, I like to play my guitar and piano and sing, or do random craft projects. I am kind of a jill of trades and like to try new things. Recently I ditched shampoo and conditioner and I started making my own ph balancing solutions. I also started making my own natural laundry detergent. My dream is to live somewhere warm, with a long growing season, where I can grow my own food and maybe have a small farm. I would be really happy if I could meet some other unshcooling families, and maybe even move closer to where they live.
