- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- learning that happens as our life is lived, it helps me step back and look, listen, think about my kids instead of plan for them and direct their learning experiences, it is trust that they are walking the path that they are meant to, it is losing fear of the future to enjoy today ... and tomorrow
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- i feel like the unschooling is just living and the kids came into my life 8 years ago, but I did try the more traditional homeschooling approach when we first started and knew in my heart it was wrong, I felt like I had replaced my child's mother with a task master - a frustrated, stomach in knots, tired lady who was trying to make it fun, trying to make it happy, it wasn't genuine living.

- I enjoy knitting, art of any kind, being outside biking, gardening, being inside watching goofy movies or playing games. I am married to a wonderful man who encourages me to be me and is incredibly patient. We run a behavioral health consulting business together in NE TN. I like to do one thing at a time and enjoy the moment.
