- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Seems to me to be an "alternative" to traditional education systems designed to allow the children to progress at their own pace. It makes sense that if my child is suited to this "unstructured" method that it could succeed far more that the boring "lecture" based public schools.
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- I havent started yet but am very interested. Some of the ideas I want to attempt some of these methods with my 5 year old. He just started Kindergarten and it is very difficult to put him i school so I dont want to fail at homeschooling and have no where to turn, so I may see how he responds to these methods before pulling him out.

My name's Andy, and I'm a 28 year old Dad of two boys, 2 & 4. I was raised in a military family, so I have a pretty good idea of where you're coming from and what kinds of things you're working through in regards to the unschooling/parenting stuff.
