Profile Information

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
To me radical unschooling means leaving behind the idea that if my children have a great scholastic education, they will have a great life, be happy, and successful. It means accepting that my idea of success may not be what my child's idea is; that a great life is made up of many great moments, which should be happening all the time; and most times, a child's happiness is in direct proportion with allowing him to be a child.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
My older 2 children went to private, catholic schools, the oldest is off to Mt. Holyoke this fall.
I decided to homeschool my younger ones last year. In April, I really got turned onto unschooling, and all that it represents. So not too long, yet!

I wish i knew how to put you onto chat, or email....
Plymouth isn't too far for me...now that the new 44 is in (bwater would have been easier). I would love to get together...I am a SAHM, so am pretty open to ideas. Were you part of the BRAHS group?

We live at Rexhame beach in Marshfield. We moved here about 6 months ago from Bridgewater. That would have been close!
We are always up for meeting new people. Maybe we can meet somewhere.

Julie!! OMG. What are you doing here? LOL. I checked your name because I thought it was another Julie and then I saw Raynham MA. And a closer look at the photo and imagine my surprise. How'd you hear about this spot?
