- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- It's an extension of the attachment parenting approach we did with our kids as itty bitties, and stems from a total trust in their ability to know/seek what they need for whatever they are doing at the moment. I think it's operating from a place of hope instead of fear! -- and for good reason!

- a little about me
- I'm a former journalist, my husband and I backpacked through 14 countries before children, and we now live in Portland, Ore. in our happy little family nest :) I have two super-special kids, one of whom has down syndrome. It was the other child who just hated every day of school, and we pulled him out of 1st grade. We have all been happier ever since!
