My 6 yr. old went to vacation bible day camp. She loves big social events, enjoys the crafts, and they preach good ideas mostly. Each day the children are to bring handfuls of coins to raise money for a charity. The girls put their money in the pink bucket and the boys put their money in the blue bucket. She was just laying on her back, rolling around on the floor, putting her feet on things. Basically doing nothing. I thought about suggesting something to do but then decided to let her be and relaxed on the couch with my book. I'm still deschooling myself, still new to unschooling. My kids are 6yr. and 2yr and haven't been to school but I still get urges to homeschool my oldest. Her kindergarten public school friends are doing addition and subtraction worksheets. She was interested in trying a couple worksheets since we have workbooks around (hand me down homeschool stuff from a friend) She occasionally likes to do stuff from the homeschool box.
