- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Radical Unschooling is trusting in your children's curiosity and creativity and yearnings...in such a way that they'll naturally learn all about this world that we live in...and this vast universe in which we all reside. (When asked by strangers...I often reply...."It's kinda like home-schooling...only without the net!" )....and it's definitely learning without the barriers/walls of a school...and with the innocence of children...and without the preconceived notions, prejudice, dogma, etc. that one might encounter in traditional institutions such as schools.
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- Amy and Lily have never gone to school...and we've been unschooling them pretty much from the beginning.
(Their "beginnings", at least.)
