Profile Information

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: It means not abiding by any of the concepts that are associated with school. It means I focus on my children's individual needs, wants, and desires based on each child not based on what others who know nothing about my specific child expects.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: 13 years!!! WHEW!!!

first names of children: Mario, RJ, CJ, and Crystal. Mario and RJ are now in public high school (their choices) and CJ and Crystal are still with me.

a little about me: I knew when I was in high school that I would homeschool my children. When the time came, I researched and most identified with unschooling because I was more concerned with the development of my son's person, than his academic knowledge. I am a single parent. I am a massage therapist and I have a mobile massage business.
