Hi new person here :) I planted mine on 1st December and just harvested loads of really good bulbs on Saturday. I think anytime fromend of September up until February is ok here (Scotland) x

Kimzyn - Just started a group for those of us in Southeast Wisconsin, and anyone else who is close enough or would like to come visit when they are in town.

Let me know, I'm mailing one out to Rain tomorrow, I am really wanting honest gut-level responses before I move to final illustrations (I'm not expecting a full blown critique, we all have time limitations ). Kimzyn! I cannot believe I missed your comment/question! My 8 yo daughter Echo has recently become much more fascinated with the internet and she overtook my computer for a bit, and somehow I missed it. Anyway... my book is about Susan, a girl that has a Should for a pet. And at first it seemed so wonderful...
Although I had some interest from Hay House a few years ago, things fell apart as my contact passed on and HH decided to change directions and not go into children's books. However, I am on the road to self-publishing. I would love to send you a book dummy if you have a moment to read it. :)

I suppose I ought to record this for posterity, or at least as an indicator to the world that kids can stumble upon math concepts and enjoy exploring them. This is the sort of connection I wish I had been able to make when I was struggling to learn my multiplication tables and being flash carded to death in a good-hearted but tortuous attempt to help me.
