- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Fostering the self initiated interests of my children. Encouraging and supporting those interests by finding the learning opportunities for my child to explore his own authentic self. Trusting my children to take responsibility for their education, believing that the fundementals will be covered in more interesting ways.
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- Just looking in to it now.....I would love to find an unschooling coop in Portland, OR.

- a little about me
- I am an acupuncturist and a full time momma to two little boys. I am interested in alternative ways of obtaining an education and have always followed divergent paths for my own education so I am looking for that for my kids.

As you get into it, you might even find yourself thinking what IS this strange tiger whose tail I've grabbed hold of? (hey..it's not called radical for nuttin') THere's a lot of inner work involved, but I can assure you as a mother of "unschooled" big people (20 yo and 17 yo) that it is SO worth it.
