a little about me: I am a strong-willed, patient, open minded, creative, practical working mom. I am married to a strong-willed, creative, beautifully impractical, loving, musical genius, artist, & stay at home dad. We live happily in a 900 square foot, cozy home in a town in south central Maine with our youngest son who is a perfect little combination of the two of us and the most independent minded of our family's children.

Standing In Line is not a Life Skill

I am slowly growing accustomed to my immediate family's rantings on the dangers of(cue the "doom and gloom" music) unschooling. I was honestly shocked by the criticism thrust upon me as this fall began and my family realized that I really meant what I have been talking about for the past five years.
