- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Taking advantage of the blessing life is rather than just living through it. Being aware of the wonderful opportunities to learn that occur every moment of every day and growing through the ones that are of interest. Becoming life long learners, rather than allowing learning to become a chore. Never saying "I can't" due to trusting that all things are possible.
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- We are in our third year.... although we have not always been unschoolers... praise the Lord that we are now!
- names and ages of children
- My young man, Keylan is seven years old.... soon to be eight! I am trying to cope with the reality of it! He is growing up way too fast!!
- a little about me
- I am a single mother, who has been blessed with the best support system I could ever ask for, Jesus and my mother! Without them I would be completely lost! Being a good example for my son is my goal. We have a blast learning new things together each and every day. I pray that what is instilled in him now will be carried with him for the rest of his life (most of the time!). I am a full-time student currently striving towards a Bachelor's in Ministry. I work at the YMCA with Youth and Teens. It seems as though I am always on the move, but I am grateful that we have been blessed with so many wonderful opportunities and such awesome friends!
