- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- It's a new term to me, but from what I understand it means allowing your children to learn outside of a classroom and follow their desires instead of what some teacher (or government) has planned.
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- I've been homeschooling for only about 5 years.
- a little about me
- I have developed my own parenting philosophy, based on personal experience and common sense. Little did I know, it is very nearly the same philosophy that unschooling parents believe. We have been very lucky to meet an avid "unschooling" family who has shown me that others are raising their children in a better environment as well. As I read the unschooling sites and info I see there is a whole community of people who think like I do, and would like to be connected to likeminded families.
