I've waved you through to the group! Venue for 4 Feb is still to be confirmed, so you will see the details via the group website - possibly someone's house in Fareham, otherwise a Harvester pub in Rowlands Castle. Do you have transport? I can give you a lift from Fareham station if not.
Look forward to meeting you then.

Hi Louisa! good to 'meet' you on here - and I hope to meet you in person sometime this year. I saw your comment about the camp, so it will be great if you can make that. Also, we are near Southampton (we're halfway between Southampton and Portsmouth), so may see you outside of that too. Have you joined the South of England Unschoolers group? Apologies if you have, but I don't think I've seen you amongst the new member requests recently. We don't have a ton of regular activities like SEEDS etc, but it is a good way to meet/link up with other unschoolers in this area. If you're in the UK by 4 Feb, and it works for you, we're having an evening get together for parents in the group, as we've found this to be really helpful to talk through any issues we're each facing. Hopefully we will get some other day time meets in the diary for Feb too by the time you're over.
I have a few thoughts about your social challenge question too - I have some of the same issues with my son - so will post those in that discussion thread.
Hope to meet you properly sometime soon
Carole
PS I also have a Tess!
