a little about me

I'm a former public school teacher, who saw first hand the damaging effects of controlling kids' learning. I love reading children's picture books and fantasy novels to my kids, sitting on the porch swing with a glass of wine, learning about peaceful parenting and unschooling, and just being around my wonderful boys and husband.
