You don't have to participate in PVP activities to be in the horde of unschoolers guild. It's pretty laid back, and people are off doing whatever they want.

Oh - yes, you are in California. Holy cow, Marcie. Just go get him and don't do all that IEP and STAR testing. Rescue the poor kid now. You can join a private satellite school or file your own private school affidavit - right this minute. Just take him home - tell the school he is transferring to a private school and the private school will be requesting his records. Go read on the hsc.org website to learn more about your legal options.
