- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Trust. Freedom. Time. Time to be. Time to think. Time go grow and learn and become. Time to blossom. And I like that my child has ownership of her time. Ownership of her learning. That she knows she did it. That she owns it. And I like that she has ownership of her being. Ownership of who she is.

- 9 years or 4 depending on how you count it

- I think what I wrote above about "what does radical ..." is awkward and worded completely wrong. I do however like what I was trying to say.

- Marcy, hi! Thanks for visiting me and introducing yourself. An hour south of Evansville is practically next door in this non-unschooling part of the planet! The "tribe" I wrote of on my blog is still quite ephemeral and one family has already moved away, dang it... but if I can round people up we can have a park day or something. Wanna come?

I don't think we have met, but wanted to say hello. I read your post on Robyn's page about sleeping, as Robyn said it seems there are so few of us who have done (or are doing) the rotating/ really late night schedule I couldn't resist introducing myself. My daughter Olivia is almost 3 and although we now sleep every 24 hours, instead of 26ish, we still stay up really late. I related to the anxiety you will feel when the 2:00 am turns to 3:00 am. That's us too, I am currently posting this at 2:30, LOL! Well anyway it's comforting to know that we aren't alone, thank you for sharing your experience.
