Profile Information

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
The word 'radical' is a strong word. It makes sense that if you
unschool yourself with your child that is a radical act. One that goes against the grain and one that puts in question the
current existing systems.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
We "unschooled" up till Emile was 5, then he went to Kindergarten for last year. Now he does not want to go to school but for gym and library. So we are doing both.
Unschooling and schooling. Now he is BACK to school. His choice.
first names of children
Emile age 6
Eva age 3, almost 4
Seymour age 2
a little about me
I stay home with my kids full time and volunteer in our neighborhood with cleaning friends houses, learning public participation process by volunteering with a citizen group called CAP for the East Side Water Supply Project. Lowell School Garden, Sustainable Atwood ( a non-profit), etc. etc.

We did progress from the natural childbirth/AP community (although I didn't birth at MBC), and I know there are a few local doulas/childbirth educators on here too!

Will you be going to the H.O.M.E. Not Back To School Picnic next week?
