- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- wanting to start...thinking about starting a cooperative unschool for my son and maybe a bigger free school for others as well.

- a little about me
- i am an educator by trade and after spending a few years teaching african american lit in detroit public high schools, after watching the imagination be sucked out of elementary kids while teaching young ones in detroit and after supervising very uninspired student teachers at university of michigan, i am in a unique place. my son would be starting kindergarten in the fall but instead, i am considering unschooling him and at the same time, starting a free school for him and others. i got education on the brain right now...
