what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

Radical Unschooling means a life where my son, my husband, and I are learning constantly from everything we encounter. We put our relationships as a priority and learning stems from that.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?

Our son is 5.5, so technically, we have just begun, but I discovered Radical Unschooling when he was 18 months, and knew it was the lifestyle for us.

a little about me

I am an older mom, lucky enough to have my son when I was 43. I am a fashion design consultant, so I can work at home. Ironically, I also teach fashion courses as FIT and Parsons, which has been quite interesting since I have a different view of education than many of my peers. My husband works nights, so if I am not with our son, he is. We have a warm, loving, home life!!
