I think that having a get-together is a great idea. I'm sure people would come out for it. I know I would!
I was really bummed that I misssed Dyana's Respectful Partnerships session. It sounds like I missed a lot of good stuff...
Finn's got a really cool name also! :) It sounds like Finn and Tag have a lot in common! Tag *loves* Star Wars! I can hardly keep him out of his Commander Cody halloween costume! Yeah- the gun thing is big here too but swords are even bigger! Tag usually has his pirate sword tucked into one side of his belt and his light sabre tucked in the other side! He loves the MTH books also and lately his belted sword get-up goes on right over a makeshift toga! It kills me every time he puts it on!
He's also really into pirates. Someone just told him about space pirates and the concept has him ga-ga! We're reading our way through the Warriors books right now (they're about a cat clan, if you haven't heard of them) and he's really into those. He still loves vehicles of any kind, all animals, Dinosaurs, and legos.
"Find A Tree" is actually the name of Daniel Armstrong's book. He led the workshops listed in the program as How To Live Your Dreams/How to Help Your Child Live Your Dreams. I couldn't tell you which one I was in!
I went to Dyana Martin's session on Nurturing Passions. She was great! Her positive energy and warmth was infectious. Were you in that session?
Andrew and I both caught Sunday Cote's last session- The Ultimate Unschooling Journey. It was really good. I was very disappointed to have missed the other sessions that those two ladies gave. I skipped the EFT one because I was already familiar with EFT- now I wish I had gone. That last session with Sunday prompted my husband to initiate a conversation on the way home from Dallas about removing the remaining limits from our house. I was shocked! I never thought he would go the last ten steps!
I would love to get together. I've been bubbling over with thoughts since the conference... ;)
I noticed that you joined this network minutes before I did! You didn't just happen to come back from the RE conference did you?
