what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: I am still learning, but what is means for me now is remembering how to see the world as a new and wonderful place, full of things to explore and share joy with. Letting go of conventional ideas (or not so conventional) ideas about what a child (or anyone else) needs/needs to do. I have always liked the idea "Do what you love and the money(joy, happiness, what have you) will follow", but being able to help my children achieve this is such a blessing.

a little about me: I love exploring new ideas and crafts. I currently am studying Chinese medicine, restarting my studies in midwifery, crocheting hats, watching cooking and fashion reality shows, finding new healthy delicious (mostly gluten-free) recipes, reconnecting with my inner child, reading Fantasy novels (especially Robert Jordan and Terry Goodkind but anything with elves and magic), practicing as a massage therapist/nutritionist/yoga teacher, and trying to remember to be gentle with the world. Wanting to dance and hoop dance more and make jewelry/costumes/clothing.
