Hey Nathan, great to hear from you. I've been feeling a little disconnected from the unschooling community lately. Steffi decided to try to sell 2,000 boxes of GS Cookies this year, actually all four of the girls in our troop did - 8,000 boxes all together. They ended up added a fifth girl midway through, and topped out at over 6,600 boxes - totally amazing! The population of our town is only about 50,000 and there were 200 other Girl Scouts selling - so I'm thrilled with what they did, and they are too, even though they would have really liked to have reached their goal. But where else can five 11 & 12 year olds make over $7,500 in 25 days? They will be going to Savannah, GA in October with their earnings.

So glad to hear that Evyn is doing so well. I smile every time I think of Evyn and her personal entourage! So many people making sure she is fully supported all the time - what a lucky girl she is.

Too bad about the blog - but I can totally understand. Most of us go in spurts - totally ignoring our blogs for stretches and then getting in the mood again and blogging regularly, then total neglect again. That's certainly the kind of blogger I am!

Steady work you enjoy is great! And I see you're a total night owl, as am I, however not as much as you - I'm two hours behind you.

Have a great time at Shine. I don't know if we'll be going to any conferences this year - the timing just isn't working out for the ones I really want to go to, and the one that is close isn't welcoming. Maybe next year...

Oh Nathan - so glad to hear she is feeling fine. These kids are such good teachers, aren't they? It's so great that she's not scared, sorry you are, though. It is a lot to get past.
