For the last couple of years, I started to withdraw from the whole unschooling community. My energy was waning and activities slowed down from my lack of energy as well as severe financial constraints. We left a good paying job after hubby had 2 heart attacks at 38 years old.

I have struggled with the whole food restrictions issue for awhile now not because I believe in restricting food but for one, I do need to watch my daughters diet to some extent. Her blood pressure and heart rate can soar to extremly scary levels that started when she was three years old. After a zillion tests and almost hospitizing her a few times they never really figured out why. A year ago seems so long ago now and so much has changed for us as we continously strive for a happier life. A year ago was just going into our second year of unschooling and I was still full of doubts, panic attacks and feeling as if I was never doing enough.
