- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Respecting and validating all the crazy creative ideas kids come up with. Raising kids who never stop being curious. Knowing that I don't have the answers and I have more to learn from them than they do me!
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- My older daughter was unschooled until 6th grade and then went to a private school and then public HS by her choice. She did 9th and 10th and then realized she was wasting her time. She took the GED and SAT and is applying for colleges this fall. My younger daughter has been in a cozy laid back small school but I'm going back to unschooling for junior high school....

- a little about me
- I've never been conventional and I've never thought school served anyone very well. EVEN though I thrived at school growing up, I still always thought it was random how they decided what we had to learn and stupid that it usually wasn't in a relevant context. When my first daughter turned 5 I couldn't bear the thought of turning her over to an institution so I convinced 4 of my friends to do the same.
