Profile Information

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
I don't know about the radical part, but unschooling really means lifeschooling to me. Going out in the world and living, instead of "preparing" for life until you're eighteen. I suppose radical is only put there by schooling people, as I don't think letting your children be children and have the freedom they need to grow and learn is very radical at all.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
A month so far. I was never fully in the school way of life. My neighbors and very good friends have been unschoolers their whole lives, so I have always been exposed to that way of life. Recently I decided that I really don't want to do worksheets and reading respones, and I would rather be making coffee and getting payed for it, traveling, writing, and pondering business ventures.
first names of children
Uhhhmmm... I am the child. Frankly, I think you need a teenager in here to give you insight into what WE think about it all.
a little about me
I'm a fifteen year old lifeschooler living in BC, canada, who likes dancing, traveling, people, her job, reading, writing, photography, and whatever other opportunities come up to get the most out of life.
