Money is an issue in my family, so I'm cautious about spending it to satisfy interests that may not last. I try to find free resources. On the other hand, I don't worry about science kits or books or whatever sitting on the shelf available.

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: Essentially, that the grownups don't coerce the kids into doing learning activities, or anything else, and they acknowledge and respect the kids' needs and wants.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: 7+ years
