Hi everyoneMy son, who is 9 would like to try writing to a pen pal anywhere in the world (English language). what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: It means not getting in the way when I'm not needed and making sure I'm there when I am. It means supporting my son to follow what he is naturally interested in. Keeping our connection alive, learning alongside each other, having fun, keeping it real and enjoying life.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: I have only attempted short periods of home education and then been overwhelmed by doubt and family pressure. I have been addressing my underlying issues and feel about ready to take another leap into the unknown.

a little about me: I live in Forest Row, East Sussex, UK. Working from home as an artist and an administrator for a parenting organisation called Babiesknow. I am also about to begin a training with Hand in Hand Parenting to become an instructor. I believe that making and maintaining great relationships with each other is the key to great parenting rather than managing behaviour.
