Profile Information

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
Radical unschooling is unschooling a whole life and I am lucky to have two lives that I can support from a radically unschooling approach.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
I've been unschooling since Simon was 5 (in the U.S., 4 in Japan, but it isn't about school unless you have a school-aged child, is it?).

Schuyler, if ever you were to move to SE Melb, I almost guarantee you could count the number of radical unschooling families on one hand! Although I have not yet connected with ANY in the vicinity, I don't like to declare they don't exist! Maybe lurking . . .

hey there, aren't you sweet to let me know that you mentioned my article, ha ha! I am going to the northeast unschoolers conference in August (Boston), would love to make it to the northwest one someday though!! Hope all is well!

Oh I think the comment you put in was really very excellent. Thanks for popping in. I get a bit impatient and reel off stuff and often it's not as spot on as it could be with me fishing around and around. Wordy. Concise dense info is better. (thumbs up & kudos to you, Schuyler) And anyway, I like to see it repeated often. Good stuff for anyone to know!

Hi Schuyler,
I too found Unschoolers mainly in North America but there are some in the UK and there is now a yahoo group called Unschooling UK which is attracting others like ourselves.
