Well, for my first post, I thought I would put out there our feelings on schooling and unschooling.
Mike (my dear hubby) and I were surprised to have our little bundles join us on this earth. When the eldest started school, he went to public school and seemed to be ok. When the youngest started, he immediately had difficulty. From the first week, he begged to be homeschooled.

ContinueSheila, I just got back into my unschooling profile and missed the emails. I am so sorry - my boys would love to play Minecraft with your kids. We don't have or use Skype, but they can play online. I know Jolon my oldest is on the XBox playing and Kellen my youngest plays on the computer.
I just read you profile and it's amazing the similarities between our lives. Jolon refused to go to school in 2009 due to issues with kids not playing with him; every day was a nightmare of screaming, fighting, bribery and everything to get him to school. We finally took them out in May of 2010 and what a great decision that was!! We will have to connect sometime and share our stories - I thought for the longest time I was the only one but, suffice to say I have seen a lot of parents who homeschool go through what I went through.
