- what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
- Trusting in my children's innate qualities, by allowing and supporting them to be themselves.
- how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
- We have been home educating from the beginning and it's been a real learning curve. I have been trying to unschool for maybe 3 or 4 years (!) but I would say it's only been within the last year or so that I've really felt it falling into place, and now I feel it's really a lifestyle choice.

- Hmmm. I haven't worked since I first gave birth, which also coincided with my husband and I moving to the island of Langkawi in Malaysia (we are both British). I spend most of every day with my children, as my husband is the one working. In the last year or so I have also been learning and practicing different healing therapies which has given my life a new meaning. I feel I have been isolated from society on my little island, which I've only recently begun to appreciate has been a blessing, in the sense that I've had the time and space to work things out for myself, to gain the confidence to continue with our unschooling life. I have joined RUN to hopefully connect with and support other families on their own unschooling journey.

yes NIM is a little girl who doesn't go to school instead she has amazing adventures...
I ordered Nims island from a reccomendation from someone on this site for my son to read, however it was a little beyond him so i have been reading it and it is really inspiring and has no schooly propaganda
