what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: I guess it means totally trusting children to educate themselves in their own way. I swing between wanting to teach formally and letting them be. Mostly I'm 'unschooling by default', that is to say, I do let them do their thing, but it's kind of killing me! I know in my head that unschooling is great, but I'm finding it really hard to unschool myself. I also like some Charlotte Mason ideas, so I often say we're "unschooling with charlotte mason" but in practice that means going for walks!!

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: I've been home educating since 1999; unschooling for maybe 6 years.
