The girls had their very first concert experience this weekend. I was doing henna for the concert and DD15 was helping out. The man was suppose to take DD8 but ended up having to stay home. I was really worried I would not be able to work and accomidate her needs at the same time but it ended up not being an issue.

Things were going so well and then the little one saw the episode of the Simpson where Lisa goes vegetarian and decided to be vegetarian too. It is not great timing for this choice as we are practically carnivores and are leaving for vacation to grandmas on Saturday so there isn't much in the way of food for vegetarians in the house at the moment. On the upside my Mom went vegetarian for a couple years and generally has a lot more produce on hand so it is not horrible timing… Continue

It was a good unschooling day. The littlest one discovered a frozen stink beatle on the portch which led to checking out the I section of the encyclopedias to see the pictures of insects.

The Dilbert Marathon

So we got this box thing that allows us to use our tv like a computer. Combining this tech with the power of HULU we embarked on the Dilbert Marathon!

When we moved out of our house the end of January I thought we got rid of a whole bunch of stuff. I was drowning in mess and stuff and clutter. We moved everything into a 10x20 and there was plenty of room to walk around in and move things.
Yesterday we had it moved into the house we have decided to stay in at least till spring. I have to wonder if things did not have multiply in the moving truck. Some how this scant 10x20 unit has filled up the 3 bedroom house to the point its going… Continue
