Thank you so much. I can't really express how grateful I am for your response. I think I am just having a really bad day as this is a VERY difficult month for me as some major abuse started and Ironically ended several years later in this month a...

Your right I would probably have better luck looking in from the outside. I will probably fully regret posting this and I apologize for having hijacked the thread. I have been at this for a few years and I just can't seem to get it right. I often...

That works ok for DD7 and is what I am doing for her card making business. In fact this was something I was concerned with. I worry that "taking things over" or doing it better then she could will discourage her. This does not work with DD14 as I...

Currently with DD14 its been, Sewing, beading, woodburning, a found things art class, knittting, crochet and so on. I will get her everything for the project she wants and asked for without my prompting and it will just sit there unless I tell her...

Sometimes I think it would be soo much easier to homeschool a kid with aspergers as they have such intense and deep interests. Sometimes I think it would be so much easier to homeschool a child who is visibly retarded as then people seem to be hap...

There are these alphabet cards where the letters have a rough texture to them. A friend of mine who did school at home used them for her daughter who was dyslexic. the idea is you trace the letters with your finger as you say it and look at it and...

The thing I worry about with dye is the chemicals. There are a lot of chemical free or chemical light options these days though. Lucky for me my girls have never been all that interested in dyeing their hair so I have not had to worry about the is...

Mary poppins storage unit.

When we moved out of our house the end of January I thought we got rid of a whole bunch of stuff. I was drowning in mess and stuff and clutter. We moved everything into a 10x20 and there was plenty of room to walk around in and move things.

Yesterday we had it moved into the house we have decided to stay in at least till spring. I have to wonder if things did not have multiply in the moving truck. Some how this scant 10x20 unit has filled up the 3 bedroom house to the point its going to be like… Continue

Bouncing baby buggy bumpers!

We got a little indoor trampoline today. So far the girls have explored jumping up and down, the twist, jumping jacks knee lifts and made up a few moves to name.

My teen has come up with a new get in shape program as she has decided it is time to work on her health. This week she has also discovered the joy of eating raw bell peppers of a variety of colors. They must be in season as they were a really good price.

The youngest has started in on her Halloween cards. We unfortunately did not get… Continue

Remmy. The new adventure.

Yesterday we got a cat named Remmy. The kids have been wanting a cat for a long time now but we have been moving a lot and unable to have pets due to apartment policies and such. We have decided to settle at least for the winter and possibly longer and the landlord mentioned we could get a cat if we wanted to.

I am hoping when the newness of the kitten wears off the kids will quit fighting over the kitty. The original plan was to get 2 kittens but we could not afford them from the shelter (its… Continue

SL store and a website!

DD13 decided that with the SL money she got for the holidays she would start a store in SL to sell all the stuff she has been making. She first tried to find a store she could rent but there did not seem to be any she liked that would work for what she wanted. Then she decided to rent some land so she went shopping for some in a price range she could afford.

She found some land she liked and construction began after securing a deal with her father to ensure the continued coverage of her rent sh… Continue
