what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

Recognizing the inherent drive and connection to their own truth that children have, and trying not to disconnect that with random assumptions they should be doing anything different in this moment. Respecting, supporting and cheering them on! Learning alongside them, extending past my own boundaries ("you want to skin an animal? Okay! Let me figure out how we can do that." Still working on this one). Being a conscious parent.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?

From the get go -- we tried an Oak Meadown curriculum for four days once because the kids were curious and wanted "a schedule." Still need to E-bay that....

Avid gamer (board and computer), gardener (fruit and veggies at the moment, and backyard hens too) and want to bring more yoga, meditation, hiking and biking into my life, but I seem to like to sleep to much to fit it all in most days....
