For me, unschooling is simply stepping out of the mindset and culture of school and then following our children's interests, not imposing specific learning or subjects upon them. It takes a whole lot of trust, respect and freedom to do this successfully. Radical Unschooling is just the natural extension of that trust and freedom beyond education to other areas of our children's lives.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
I jumped into radical unschooling whole-heartedly right from the start after deciding to homeschool when my oldest was six years old.
Hi Sunday! It's so fun to find you "everywhere"! What an amazing adventure the RE Conference was! I'll touch base on the Heart of Unschooling list soon (if I can stay online - getting my "real" computer back tomorrow and should be online for good -- Yippee!).
