what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

When I see, hear, or think the words "radical unschooling" I feel an incredible lightness inside, a happiness, a release... I feel free. I'm really new to it as an idea but the more I read and learn to more "right" it feels.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?

Less than a year! Well, I've been learning about it that long... My daughter is still really little.

I'm tandem nursing my 10 mo and my almost 3 yo boys, and it has been a wonderful experience for all of us. My older son rarely gets jealous since he can have "chi-chi" whenever his brother does. Don't let comments from unsupportive moms get you down. Your daughter will be benefitting from your attentive parenting for years to come. :)
BTW, did you read Rod Dreher's "Crunchy Cons" book?
