what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

Radical unschooling means accepting my kids for who they are, and not trying to mold them or teach them to be anyone else. It means enjoying every moment with my family, and not having our lives broken up by any kind of schooling.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?

I have been reading since about September 2009. We phased out limits on food, tv, bedtimes, and other things about January 2010.

a little about me

I was highly schooled and could have done without most of it. Last time I finished school, I swore it would be the last time. I am thrilled to have found out about radical unschooling before I felt the need to send my kids.

I love being the wife to my wonderful husband, and mother to our kids. I do some light math and physics tutoring to help pay the bills.
