I have always seemed to follow the path less traveled, gone with my heart instead of the status quo and wanted something better for my son, and myself, than the rat race so many just seem to think we have no choice but to accept. Unschooling not only has given me a different perspective on how to interact with my son but also on how to live my own life. Formerly a practicing civil engineer I am now persuing what I love, nurturing new plant life into being, alongside my son who is free to follow his passions as well. the last link in the chain is for my husband, who works hard in a mundane job to provide for us, can also move into a place of pursuing his true passions, which I trust will manifest in the near future. Life is good.
