I have 4 boys 10, 6, 4 and 2...........they all, at varying degrees, love Narnia. My oldest has loved Narnia since he was probably 5. I think it's particularly great for boys. They love the intrigue and battle aspects of it. The talking animals an...

Hey Lydia ! Love your thoughts. I agree, I find so much more GRACE with believers who understand Eph. 1&2 and John 8. I find it outside "church" buildings and "programs" and "conferences". I see *JESUS in The BODY of CHRIST* who TRULY understand W...

Hey Lydia:0) The conference was last week and i ended up not going, so unfortunately losing all the money paid for it. There are NO refunds. My battery in my car died the day before. a service charged it, however, the next day it was dead again! So I'm glad I didn't go, not knowing what was wrong with it. They have fixed the problem now though. Thanks for thinking of me:0) Hope all is well with you. Should we build an ARK? Just kidding. I know GOD Said HE would NEVER flood the Earth again. HE IS SO MERCIFUL:0)

Hi Lydia....do you want to meet up at a local park to share ideas and the children can play? Do you know where Thornbury park is? That is in Glen Mills close to my home but we could also meet at Rose Tree and have a picnic? You can call me @610-399-3671. Actually all unschoolers who read this can call me. I don't know of any other unschoolers as close by as you! ..........starving for unschool fellowship! :0)

Hi Lydia, Thanks for leaving a comment. We LOVE it at Lake Tahoe. I have never seen a more beautiful place! I am going to have to get some discussions going on financially free, since lots of people want it :) Talk to you soon!

Hi Lydia,
Thanks for your comment, and yes, I would love to help you!
It was an extremely educational year creating and publishing my book.
I will say, it is easier than most internet sites let on. Just believe in yourself!

Thanks, Lydia, for find me here! I have been a "non active" member (and RCU) for a while. I am still somewhat uncomfortable about building relationship on cyber world. Not that I am better expressing in person than in words, it seems to just take much more time to put in written form. On the other hand, it's good that it's more thoughtful and I have time to think before I speak up.

Anyway, nice to meet you, Lydia.

Blessings,
Sarah

I am a crazy, joy-filled Christian, I love to read, write, laugh, cook, study about things I love, play board games, go dancing, 70's music, 80's music, chick bands, actually I have no specific music preference I just like it all (mostly), learning to live more organically, I love the idea of farming, my husband and I want to be totally debt free in 5 years or less, and buy an RV and travel cross country with our boys, if you could guarantee I'd have a little girl I'd go for it one more time, otherwise I'm not so sure, I love dark dark chocolate, I love to pick berries and eat right off the bat, mmmm.....I love to kiss and tickle my kids to tears, and I love my bed...(which is calling me now)

My Journey into Freedom......

I decided to share my journey, as a mom, of how I grew in my thoughts and practicals of raising my kids. I guess before I had kids I had preconceived ideas of how I might want to raise them, but I never was prepared for what becoming a parent would feel like, or how it would change me and everything I think and do. I became a mom unexpectedly at age 24, wasn't married and my whole life was turned upside down!! It truly was worth it though! I met my husband, Keith, while my son was still very you… Continue

Living in the "School" of LIFE!

I have been so inspired by this network! A big thank you to all for being who you are! I am currently not able to post on my own wordpress blog, "The School of Life." Every time I try to get onto it from this laptop, it crashes the whole computer! Bizarre! I am waiting for my laptop to come back from geek land all ready to blog away! So, today I decided to utilize my blog on here, what a novel idea!
My family is currently on vacation down at the Jersey shore. We love to come here in September, w… Continue
