a little about me
I'm Laura... I'm a free spirit who is sometimes a bit uptight; a wild woman who is sometimes quite prim; a mother with mama bear instincts who always says yes to her children; and a devoted wife who thinks that there's a very fine line between passion and fury. I love to ride my bike, write non-fiction, chat with friends, and watch my children. My husband makes me laugh, and if he keeps that up, I'll keep him around. I live on 10 acres of family land with a most fantastic view.

You don't know how glad I am that J and T got to hang out. I think Jonathan's bright shining energy really attracted Thomas, and he followed for the ride. :) But seeing T at the dance was really something for me--he was out there dancing! At L&L 2008 he wouldn't stay out there. So I think it had something to do with J's enthusiasm and charisma. And T is growing as well, but I just don't think he'd have felt as uninhibited or whatever it is he was feeling before had he not been hanging with J, knocking on doors and all that good stuff. :) Can I borrow your son for a couple weeks or so? lol

Yeah....if I survive the start-up (lots of hours) I'm starting a modeling company with three other partners. We have a studio in downtown JC and we're mostly building high fashion portfolios for models but also doing makeup classes/workshops, photo shoots etc...

It's exhausting right now because I am still working full-time but that will hopefully change when the studio actually makes some money.:)

awwww, wish we could be there but that's gonna be a bit far and much for us right now. We're actually heading up to Tennessee tomorrow to pick up Abbi. She's been in Maryland and we're gonna see the other Laura and Ren :)

Laura, I so wish I had the chance to talk with you more at the L&L conference. My husband Steve said he talked with you and your husband on Sunday, and while he had no worthwhile comments on the sports questions ;0... he enjoyed the chat and told me that I should have been there to talk with you.
