Life has been crazy and yet peaceful all at the same time. Is that even possible? I am not sure but...either way it has been for us.

Thomas had has big 9th birthday this weekend. We went to a community center and swam, ran on track (he wanted to, not me), ping pong and pool. So yesterday we did nothing, didn't even think of school...just did what we wanted to do. What I nice relaxing day. It was funny today there is snow and the public school is close today, so Thomas asked me if we have to do school today. I then asked him when is the last time he did school?  His reply...Don't know, mine..lets keep it that way. So this is day two of major research into unschooling. I am very thankful for a reply I got on new with questions post.

I have spent much of the morning on the couch watching the kids play while trying to research as much as I can on my lap top.  While I am not sure this is unschooling, it has been a nice relaxing day in the sense that they are not expected to be at the table with notebooks and tears!
