The universes sick sense of balance....

Things were going so well and then the little one saw the episode of the Simpson where Lisa goes vegetarian and decided to be vegetarian too. It is not great timing for this choice as we are practically carnivores and are leaving for vacation to grandmas on Saturday so there isn't much in the way of food for vegetarians in the house at the moment. Marmosets

It was a good unschooling day. The littlest one discovered a frozen stink beatle on the portch which led to checking out the I section of the encyclopedias to see the pictures of insects.

Then as I was preparing lunch she comes up to me and says something to the effect of "do you want to see a marmoset?" she had one of the science books that came with the encyclopedias and shows me the page.
