What makes India such a wonderful place for children to learn? Part 1 ..



Homes are open and people are in and out throughout the day. Makes life interesting and young kids get plenty of attention.

So we were lying on the bed and dd (6 going on 16) was reading aloud to me "Grover's Guide to Good Manners." After she finished, she returned the book to the shelf (what good manners!) and said, "now I will reread one of my favourites. And what do I see her pull down? How to talk so kids will listen and how to listen so kids will talk.

After the earth hour hoopla (couple of weeks ago there was a national call to turn everything off for 1 hour in the evening) our daughter has been very particular about saving electricity, not even using the fan!
