Fertility Holidays and Just Welcoming Spring

My husband and I laugh as we think about Easter. We love watching the boys have so much fun on the treasure hunt, but the truth is there is something strange about the bunny and egg thing. Let's face it, we all know a bunny delivering eggs is about fer… Continue

Listening to those Voices

Okay, I admit it! Sometimes, I doubt the universe will provide. As I continue to move forward and I do what I love, every once in a while a voice pops into my head that says, "You are living in a dream world! Life is not a dream and you have to be rational and practical." Do y… Continue

A Full Week with Family, Peace and the Work

This week my family came back from a long trip away. We missed each other so much and I took a break from writing the book for most days. I am at about 141 pages and 31,000 words. I am amazed at what writing a book does to your brain. I feel it is so fast paced and fun when I am in the zone. The words are pouring out and it all makes sense. Then after I put away the book and I am no longer in any zone, I feel so uncreative. Zoned OUT! I can barely think now to write... lol! I love all… Continue

Love

Today is a day to remind us to remember those we love. Remember to start where love begins: You! Fill your cup with a breath and a knowing that you are perfect where you are today. Fill your spirit with the joy for you have created joy for others on your journey. Fill your heart with warmth for you have been loved in your life. Fill your mind with clarity, for love is waiting for you when you clear out your stories. Once you fill your cup, let it overflow to others and share joyously in the… Continue

The Book

Well the family has been away and I have been working on the peace treaty book. I have 3-4 more chapters to rough draft in. Then a final writing. So far about 29,000 words in just a couple of weeks. I am ready for a break. It will be wonderful to have my family home again and spend time with them. Real people instead of the computer! I miss their faces, their smiles and laughter. Picking them up on Valentine's Day feels just right. So much love. So much to share. It is so strange how 2… Continue

Super Sunday of Playing Sports

Those of you who love the American game of football, may be thrilled because it’s that time again for Superbowl Sunday. American’s day at the Coliseum, lion vs. man, with tons of funny commercials selling us junk food, overpriced shoes and gas guzzling trucks all together with an over-hyped musical performance in the middle of the event. Where does that leave those of us who are not motivated by such a day of events? Many women have said “enough!” We are done trying to fake the enjoymen… Continue

Confidence

You say it isn't easy and it isn't always clear. Yet confidence is the strong foundation, best to face your fear. When you walk with your head held high and your shoulders rolled down and back, You can better see the path before you and you relax upon the track. Say what you believe in with compassion and clarity in your voice. Yet, confidence always listens to another's argument or choice. When we are confident about ourselves, we feel the freedom it allows. Through freedom we can live witho… Continue

Piano Lessons for the Parents

My children have always loved playing music. Drums, piano, guitar, violin, and a whole host of percussion instruments that we've collected over the years. Last year I was excited to have the opportunity to allow them both to have piano lessons. I made it clear from the beginning they wo… Continue

Working with the peace treaty

Last night I was working with the peace treaty with a friend and it was so beautiful! This is the oldest core belief I have ever discovered with this work. Her belief began as a 1 year old. The interesting part was this 1 year old was amazingly smart at protecting herself. The minute we got close to creating the treaty, she began to tell stories of a 6 year old, and then a 12 year old. I asked, "Can we go back to being one?" I was answered with silence. I was also amazed seeing the resistanc… Continue

Connecting in the Now to Our Own Journey

Journeys. We are all on our own journey. Although sometimes we share the path with others, we cannot walk someone else's journey, and they cannot walk ours. Journeys can create joy or suffering. We suffer when we do not trust our own perceptions or w… Continue

My Shoulder of Should

It happened 5 years ago. I was walking down the street with my 2 year old and holding his hand. He was never one much for walking. He loved to be carried and I struggled to get him out of the sling. It was only from a tired back and a belief he should be walking at his age, did I make the decision a few weeks prior that I needed to encourage him to walk on his own. So I held on to his tiny hand as we walked down the street. That was when it happened. He let go of the ground. He put his… Continue
